CCW Renewal Classes
8 hours of updated information including new regulations by the State and local law enforcement agencies and SAFTEY information. Class time includes Range time to qualify you with your pistols. We will arrange range time AFTER the class. Please note you will need to qualify with each pistol you wish to have on your permit, limit of 3 pistols. You will need 50 round of ammunition for each pistol. This will give you a chance to warn up and shoot the 30 round required for each pistol you want on your permit . You MUST scoring 80% or better on the target from 5 different distances. This will also includes shooting with your weak hand.
The class fee is $350.00 and includes qualifying. A $100.00 nonrefundable deposit is required for this class. Range qualifying time's will be arranged with the Instructors and students after the class.

To the Napa Police Department Authorized CCW Training Course Providers,
There has been a recent update to the training hours needed for an applicant to qualify for a CCW by the California Department of Justice Bureau of Firearms. You all have the current NPD CCW initial applicant training hours which is 16 hours. Those training hours and the qualification course of fire will remain the same. The change will be in the CCW renewal applicants training hours. Effective January 1, 2024, the CCW renewal applicant training hours will be 8 hours instead of (4 hours). The qualification course of fire will remain the same.
