CALIFORNIA DOJ NEW CCW RENEWAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

We would like you to know , that all BRDFT Instructor are POST certified as well as California DOJ Certified Instructors. We recommend you take a look at the instructors Bio page. It's ALWAYS good to see what qualifies an instructor to be instructor.

Napa Police Department Authorized CCW Training Course Providers, There has been a recent update to the training hours needed for an applicant to qualify for a CCW by the California Department of Justice Bureau of Firearms. You all have the current NPD CCW initial applicant training hours which is 16 hours. Those training hours and the qualification course of fire will remain the same. The change will be in the CCW renewal applicants training hours. Effective January 1, 2024, the CCW renewal applicant training hours will be 8 hours instead of (4 hours). The qualification course of fire will remain the same. I have provided the training information from the California Department of Justice Bureau of Firearms below for your review. This is supervised range time you will be with one of our instructors. Range time is $75.00 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. So Crab your AMMO.

We can not take friends or guests at this time. This is not a defensive class or a qualifying Class .
